Scumbags Attract Babyshamble’s Doherty, Doherty Attracts Blur’s Coxon, Coxon Attracts NME, Blag Ensues

What’s funnier than Blur guitarist Graham Coxon blagging to NME that Pete Doherty attracts scumbags? The fact that Coxon hangs out with Pete Doherty. Oh indie rock, you write the jokes yourself. It’s never a dull moment with Doherty though. First he’s canoodling with supermodels and riding the Charlie train, then he’s off writing new material for his latest album with Coxon. Now, Coxon actually had kind things to say about the former Libertine’s libertine; he reportedly described Doherty as “funny, warm, and cuddly”–uh, I mean “charming.” Continue reading
